New stage for emerging Irish talent at Westport festival

Westport Festival of Music and Food has teamed up with Galway’s Róisín Dubh music venue to introduce a dedicated festival platform for new and emerging Irish talent: The Róisín Dubh Stage.
The line-up has already been confirmed, and it’s pretty impressive. Expect Delorentos, Le Galaxie, Squarehead, Daithi, Funeral Suits, Kid Karate, Sleep Thieves, Spook Of The Thirteenth Lock, Mojo GoGo, Elaine Mai, In Their Thousands, So Cow, Dott, The Depravations, Doghouse and Stephen James Band.
The rest of the line-up for the festival, which takes place at Westport House on Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, includes Elvis Costello, Ryan Sheridan, Hermitage Green, Buena Vista Social Club, Blind Boys Of Alabama, ABC, The Stunning, The Riptide Movement, Gavin James, Julie Feeney, Imelda May, Sharon Corr and Cry Before Dawn.
